The story of Hotel Athina – From the mountain to the sea
Behind every beautiful accommodation, there is a story with people, vision, and daily effort. Our story begins with two people who laid the foundations for everything: Iordanis and Athinatwo key figures of the large Iordanidis family, who dare, take risks, and are always beside the visitor – with genuine interest and personal touch.
From zero… to the Pozar Baths
In 2007, with a lot of effort and passion, they created their first accommodation from scratch: the Hotel Athina, in Loutraki Aridaia, next to the famous Pozar hot springs.A hotel that quickly became known for its warmth, care, and friendly atmosphere. It offered – and continues to offer – ideal moments of relaxation, all year round.
Their love for tourism, trips and human interaction gave birth to something more than a business: a place that makes you feel 'at home,' away from home.
From the mountain… to the sea
After years of successful experience, the Iordanidis family decided to take the next step. Purchasing an older hotel in Kallithea Chalkidiki, which they turned into something unique – with the same dedication to quality, cleanliness, and care.
Thus giving birth to Athina Mare-Sole. A new beginning beside the sea, aiming to offer the same reliable hospitality, now in a summer setting. A space created with the principle of respecting the traveler, where each guest is treated individually.
